Nuit des Musées (Night of the Museums)

Every May for the past seven years, hundreds of museums throughout France open their doors to the public for no admission. This year, Nuit des Musées will fall on Saturday, May 14; the museums will open around 6:00 p.m. and close at midnight.

Smile back at Mona Lisa whose home is at the Louvre, and then head to the Musée d’Orsay where you can view the Starry Night Over the Rhone by Van Gogh. Discover all things aquatic at the Aquarium Tropical, where they will be showing a lineup of films on marine life. There are dozens more offering a variety of exhibitions and every visitor will find something that piques their interest.

Other cities participating in this generous event include Bordeaux, Cannes, Reims and Toulouse . Find a cheap flight to Paris and take part of an extraordinary opportunity to see world famous artworks for free!
